Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery: Review and Giveaway

Not too long ago I was asked by Avery to review some of their wonderful new line of Martha Stewart Home Office products sold exclusively at Staples.  Y'all know how I adore Avery products (remember how I used them in Eloise's first birthday party here and here) and who doesn't just love Martha Stewart (man she rocks!)  Well, if you add that with how much I love me some organizational goodness of course I was so in!

They sent out some awesome products especially perfect for organizing for Back-to-School. Any of you doing that right about now?  ;-)  I still can't believe my Noah will be a Kindergartener this year (!)

First off, let me share with you the No-Iron Clothing Labels.  These are sooo cool and are exactly what they say they are.  You just write on them with a permanent marker...

And then press them firmly (for about 5 seconds) to your garment of choice.  Presto magic, you now have yourself a permanent clothing label you didn't have to iron!  I put one on Noah's back pack to prevent any mix ups there might be at the end of the school day.  The packaging says to wait a full 24 hours before washing and that the labels should last about 20 washer/dryer cycles.  Oh, and that they won't work on denim.

How great would these be for jackets, coats, hats, gloves, mittens, boots, etc. so that you don't lose any clothing or accessories during recess or the after school craziness before pick up!

I also wanted to show you the really cool chalkboard labels this home office line has out now.  Aren't chalkboard labels all the rage right now...love the ease of changing what they can say! These labels come in various sizes and are REMOVABLE!!  Yup, if you applied it slightly crooked you can just peel it off and reapply...yahoo!

I (*ahem) had to reapply these a few time to get them just right on the buckets and they still stuck on so nicely and the corners don't look beat up at all from my nails.  We now have nicely labeled buckets for markers, paint brushes, colored pencils, gel pens, and crayons...hooray for back to school organization. Noah is now set up nicely to do all his homework :-)

Alright, so on to the giveaway!  Avery if offering ONE of my lucky readers their very own set of organizational supplies from the Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery product line!

The winner will receive:
A set of Chalkboard labels in various sizes
A set of No Iron Clothing Labels
Stack+Fit Shagreen small box and lid
Adhesive Metal Bookplate

To enter:  Let me know how you are getting ready for Back to School?

  77. Well since I am out of school now and we do not have any kids yet, we are not really getting ready for school to start. Though we did have a backpack drive at church where we bough a backpack from the org and filled it with school supplies from a list and returned them to the church the next week. We were assigned 1 boy 1-6th grade and a girl 1-6 grad. we went crazy and bought fun things like puppy notebooks instead of plain ones and calculators that were bedazzled. I love buying school supplies!

    ReplyDelete
  78. My boys have gotten their new backpacks and we're heading out this weekend for new shoes. Other than that they don't really need anything. I'm just trying to brace myself for that first day of sending my oldest off to first grade and my youngest off to preschool :(

  102. I don't have a child that is old enough for back-to-school stuff, but now that I'm going for a second Bachelor's Degree, I'm trying to get organized (after a hectic move in April) so that I can have a nice, quiet (and NEAT) place to study so my cluttered desk and piles of files and boxes definitely need some organizing! I think I might also try the sticker clothing labels because I actually bought an Avery sheet of iron-ons and just printed his name but it only works on lighter colored clothing and those look WAYYY easier, too!
